Scheduling payments on Forwardly is an easy way to make sure your bills and expenses are paid on time without the hassle of paying bills manually every time. Follow these steps to schedule a payment.
- Navigate to the Payments menu item on the left navigation bar and select Bills.
- Find the payment you want to schedule in your Payment Requests list.
- Click the Pay Now button.
- Verify the payment details and confirm which bank account to send the money from.
- Click the calendar icon.
- On the calendar pop-up, choose any date from the next day to the next 90 days. You can't schedule payments on weekends or holidays.
- Click Confirm and then Next.
- If no approvals are required, you can click on Schedule.
- If the approvals are required and you have the Payment Manager access, click on Approve and Schedule.
- If you have Admin or Advisor access, you can bypass the approval process and click on Schedule.
- Enter the One-Time Password (OTP) sent to your verified mobile device.
- The payment status will now show on the Payment Requests list as Scheduled.
Reminder: Users with Admin and Advisor permissions can also choose "Approve & Schedule" along with "Approve & Pay." For Payment Managers, if there are multiple approvals required and they're the last ones to approve, they can use the "Schedule" option instead. This gives more flexibility in handling payments efficiently. |
Can I reschedule a payment?
Absolutely! If you ever need to adjust your already scheduled payments, it's easy to reschedule the payment to a different date.
- Navigate to the Payments menu item on the left navigation bar and select Bills.
- Find the payment you want to schedule in your Payment Requests list.
- Click the Pay Now button.
- Under Scheduled, click on the edit icon.
- On the calendar pop-up, adjust the date. Choose anytime from the next business day to the next 90 days. You can't schedule payments on weekends or holidays.
- Click Confirm and then Next.
- Click Reschedule.
- Enter the One-Time Password (OTP) sent to your verified mobile device.
- The payment status will now show on the Payment Requests list as Scheduled with the updated date.
