Introduction
Advisory reports are generated to coordinate, control, and easily visualize business data. These reports focus on a business's past, actual, and forecasted data and provide a concise and comprehensive view of business activities. An advisory report can assist you in evaluating business processes, discovering and mitigating problems before time, as well as making informed decisions.
In the steps that follow, we will help you create an advisory report and also show you how to download it or send it directly from within the Forwardly platform.
Reminder: Only Accountant users can generate advisory reports. If you are a Small Business or a CFO user, please add your Bookkeeper or Accountant as a user and ask them to generate an Advisory Report for your business. |
- Navigate to the Advisory Report page from the left navigation menu in the Forwardly app.
- Click on the Create New Report button toward the top right of the screen.

- You will see a new Advisory Report screen. The screen is divided into two sections: the left-hand side of the screen presents you with the options to generate the report itself, while the right-hand side provides options to customize your report.
Tip: You can customize your report further by updating the report name and the time frame. |
- On the left-hand side of the screen, select which sections of the report you would like to include.
- Once you've added the desired sections, click the Preview Report button toward the top of the same page to review your changes.
- Once you're satisfied that the report is accurate, click the Send as PDF Report button at the top right.
- Choose either Send as PDF Report or Download as PDF Report to get a copy.

Tip: You can send the report simultaneously to multiple email addresses by separating them with a semicolon. |
