Bill payment arrival depends on the payment method used and the payment limits of the payer. Forwardly always strives to deliver payments as fast as possible, but due to constraints with current banking technology, this isn't always possible.

Important details about payment delivery timing
- When sending a payment to a vendor for the first few times on Forwardly, your payments may be slightly delayed while we review. These payments are free since we're not sending them instantly.
- If a business payment exceeds the business's Current Instant Payment limit, then the payment will be sent as a Standard Payment instead.
- US Federal holidays can impact payment delivery. Please keep bank holidays in mind when deciding to pay an upcoming bill.
- The way you connect your bank account to Forwardly to send a payment matters. If you pay via manual payment instead of connecting to Plaid, your payments may see a 1-2 business day delay.
You can track the progress of a payment by reviewing the payment details screen under Invoices or Bills.

The fastest way to send payments is by fully verifying your account and connecting your bank securely through Plaid. Once businesses are fully verified, they have higher instant payment limits, which mean Instant or same-day payments depending on whether or not the receiving bank supports instant technology.
