Yes, it's quite easy for clients to change or update an Auto Payment's payment method after they've authorized future invoice payments. It will require your client to create a free Forwardly business account, but the process should take only seconds.
- Log in to Forwardly and open the business that needs the payment method updated.
- On the left-hand navigation bar, mouse over Pay and then select Vendors.
- Find and mouse over the vendor you have approved automatic payments to, then click View.
- Click on the Auto Payments tab.
- Beside Payment Method, click the pencil edit icon.
- Select a choice from the drop-down menu. If you don't see the option you're looking for, make sure it's been added already.
- Click Update.
Once the payment method is updated, all future invoices will be charged with that new payment method. Updating the payment method will not affect past or currently processing payments.
