No. Approval policies do not apply to Auto Payments.
When payments with a vendor or supplier are authorized for Auto Payment in Forwardly, future payments to that vendor will process on the scheduled date without requiring approval. Approval policies are only applied to payments that are manually initiated for other vendors.
If your business requires approvals for a vendor before payments are processed, Auto Payments may not be the right fit for those transactions. In that case, we recommend scheduling payments manually so that your approval workflow applies as expected.
