Did you receive a payment request from a business using Forwardly to receive payments? Paying them is simple and easy, whether or not you have a Forwardly account.
How to send a payment if it's your first time using Forwardly and you received a payment request

- Click the link in the payment request email.
- Add your name and email to get started.
- Add your banking details through one of two options:
- Connect instantly (through Plaid; faster and easier)
- Manual payment (adds 2-3 business days to your first payment)
- If you choose to Connect Instantly, then sign in to Plaid and confirm your bank account details.
- If you choose to send a Manual Payment, then add your banking details manually. You will have to return later to verify your bank account with a micro-deposit code.
- Add your business name and mobile phone number.
- Verify your mobile phone number with a One-Time Password (OTP) sent through SMS.
- Click Pay to complete the process.
- (Optional) Create an account to track the payment and send/receive other payments for your business.

How to send a payment if you already have a Forwardly account and have received a payment request
- Click the link in the payment request email and log in to Forwardly.
- Select the bank account you want to pay from. Choose the delivery speed, amount, processing date, and (optional) add internal notes.
- If no approvals are required, click Schedule Payment or Pay Now to process the payment.
- If approvals are needed, then you can click Submit for Approval and approvers will be notified.
- Approvers can either Approve the payment or Schedule Payment, depending on whether they are the final approver required. All approvals will be noted in the Activity Logs.
- After taking action, you’ll be taken to Payment Details, and if available, an ETA will be shown.
Can I pay with a credit card?
If your payee has been approved for card payments, then there will be an option to pay your bill by credit card.
Can I pay with a check using Forwardly?
Forwardly is a digital-payment-only platform and doesn't offer the ability to pay via paper checks.
