My business data won't load. What should I do?
While Forwardly does support most VPNs, some may cause friction and errors when attempting to sync or load business data. If you're noticing information failing to load, or is out of date, and have a VPN enabled, try turning it off and refreshing Forwardly.
This can also apply to any browser extensions that interfere with browser data or your IP address. Try disabling your extensions or using a different browser.
My business data is out of date or wrong. What's going on?
When users make changes in their accounting software but don't re-sync with Forwardly, sometimes it will show inaccurate numbers, such as an opening balance not matching a bank balance.
To fix these issues, re-sync your business data.
How to re-sync your business data
- On the left-hand navigation bar, click on Settings.
- Go to Integrations.
- Click on the Sync Now button.
- Wait for the information to be updated. This typically happens in under 30 seconds, but can take longer for larger businesses.
- When it's completed, click Refresh Now to load the new data. If you don't refresh, the newly synced data will not show up.
- Your business data should now be fully updated.
If your invoice and bill data doesn't update to match your accounting system, please check our list of common reasons why invoices and bills don't show up, and then submit a ticket if none of those reasons apply.
How long will it take for my business to sync accounting data?
It depends.
Each company you connect to Forwardly will sync data over a different duration, depending on the size and complexity of the financial information. You might see a smaller QuickBooks Online or Xero business take anywhere from 30 seconds to five minutes; on the other hand, a larger business might take up to 10 minutes. A safe benchmark figure to use before submitting a ticket would be at least 15 minutes.
