When you add your business to Forwardly, you will need to verify certain details, but that doesn't mean they're locked in stone forever.
How to update your business email address or website
- Open your business in Forwardly.
- On the left-hand navigation bar, select Settings.
- Under Business Profile, find the information you need to update.
- Click the pencil icon and type in the new information.
- Press Save to confirm your new details.
How do I update locked business details?
If you need to update something else, like your Registered Business Address, Business Type, or Beneficial Ownership information, you will need to submit a ticket. Please let us know what you'd like to change, and we will help you submit the updated business information securely. Please note that you may need to submit new business documentation to verify the updated information.
Common situations that require updates
You may be asked to update information and reverify if you:
- Add or remove an LLC member
- Change ownership percentages
- Get a DBA for your business
- Convert from single-member to multi-member LLC (or vice versa)
- Change your legal business address
- Update your state of formation or registered business address
- Correct previously entered ownership or address details
- Even small changes can trigger re-verification if they affect legal identity or control.
