If you don’t see an invoice or bill in the outstanding invoices list, there are a few reasons why it may not be showing up.
Accounting Data is Not Connected
Make sure that you've connected Forwardly with your business's accounting software. If you're not connected to an accounting system, then invoices and bills won't be visible.
Accounting Data is Out of Date
Forwardly pulls updated information from your accounting software every day. If you add a new invoice or bill in your accounting software and then go to Forwardly, you will need to resync your accounting data to make the new items show up.
Only Approved & Unpaid Invoices Are Shown
If you're looking for an invoice under Outstanding Invoices and can't find it, it might be because the invoice list only includes approved invoices that are pending payment. Invoices still in Draft or already set to Paid status will not be displayed as they do not require payment.
Future-Dated Invoices & Bills Are Not Listed
If you're looking for an invoice or bill and can't find it, it might be because invoices and bills with a future due date will appear only once they are due. For instance, if it's February 3rd and a bill is dated February 5 with a due date of February 10, it won't be visible on Forwardly until February 5. At that point, you can open the bill and send the payment.
A Paid Invoice or Bill Disappeared
If an invoice or bill was received or paid through Forwardly, but the payment was later deleted or removed in your accounting software, making the invoice or bill outstanding again, it will not reappear in Forwardly.
