Why is there no ETA listed?
If there's no ETA listed, then the payment may be waiting on an action from either party. There are a few common reasons a payment might be delayed:
The other party hasn't initiated their side of the payment
If the other party hasn't accepted the payment you're sending or sent the payment you've requested, then the payment details will explain that it is awaiting the other party's action. You can easily send another reminder from the payment details screen, but we also recommend emailing them to ensure they received your request.
The other party is waiting on bank verification
If the other party chooses to add their bank manually instead of via Plaid, this can add 2-3 days to the payment timeline, as Forwardly will need to verify their bank account details. If the other party delays verifying their bank account, then this can affect the payment ETA.
The payment was frozen for additional verification
Payments may be frozen and flagged for review if they meet certain security or compliance criteria. If your payment details state that a payment is on hold, please follow the instructions.
