For the majority of cases, your vendor does not need to create a Forwardly account to get paid; vendors can typically receive bank payments without signing up for anything related to Forwardly, although they will need to confirm an email address to avoid record duplication.
When you send a payment, your vendor will get an email with the details and a secure link to enter their banking information if they haven’t already. That’s it. Some businesses on Forwardly may also be eligible to add their vendor’s banking details directly from within the Vendor business page or during the payment process.
If your vendor does choose to create a free Forwardly account, they’ll be able to:
- Track payments in real time
- Update their business's banking details
- Access a full payment history
But it’s totally optional. Forwardly is built to make payments easy for both sides.

Warning: If a payment triggers additional compliance checks, your vendor may be required to add additional business information or confirm some details with our team in order to accept the payment. These compliance checks are rare and are completed as fast as possible to ensure minimal processing delays. If you have any questions about compliance checks, please submit a ticket. |
