How do I create a Forwardly account?

Whether you’re an accountant, a bookkeeper, a CFO, or a small business owner, you can easily sign up and create a free Forwardly account. Once you have your own Forwardly account, you can connect with leading accounting software brands to access instant payments for US clients.

Sign up with an email address

You can sign up for Forwardly using a business email address and US mobile number.

1. Go to the Forwardly signup page.
2. Add your first name, last name, email address, and mobile number in the provided fields.
   

   Tip: Do you use multiple email addresses to communicate with your clients or vendors? Submit a ticket with the additional emails and we'll add them as aliases for your user account.

3. Verify your email address with a One-Time Password (OTP). 
4. Verify your mobile phone number with a One-Time Password (OTP). 
5. Select your account type:
   • Accountant/CFO
   • Business Owner
6. You'll be prompted to connect your accounting software. Alternatively, you can choose to skip this step for now and connect later.
7. Add your business details and banking information. 

Sign up using an email invitation

If someone wants to grant you access to their business team or business data, they can do so by inviting you via email and letting you create an account with an invitation.

If you’ve never used Forwardly before

1. Get added to an account.
2. Open the email invite and click Accept.
3. Fill in your personal information.
4. Verify your email address with a One-Time Password (OTP). 
5. Verify your mobile phone number with a One-Time Password (OTP). 

If you already have a Forwardly account

1. Get added to an account using the email address you already use for Forwardly.
2. Open the email invite and click accept. 

Sign up with an existing accounting software account (Single Sign-On)

With Forwardly, you can create an account using a direct connection with an existing accounting software account.

Sign in using your Xero account

If you have a Xero account, you can use Single Sign-On to create an account with Forwardly quickly and efficiently.

1. Go to the Forwardly signup page.
2. Click the Sign in with Xero button.
3. Fill in your personal information.
4. Verify your email address with a One-Time Password (OTP). 
5. Verify your mobile phone number with a One-Time Password (OTP). 
6. You will now be prompted to add a business. 

Sign in using your Intuit or QuickBooks Online account

If you have an Intuit or QuickBooks Online account, you can use Single Sign-On to create an account with Forwardly quickly and efficiently.

1. Go to the Forwardly signup page.
2. Click the Sign in with Intuit button.
3. Fill in your personal information.
4. Verify your email address with a One-Time Password (OTP). 
5. Verify your mobile phone number with a One-Time Password (OTP). 
6. You will now be prompted to add a business.
