How to send payments or payment requests without accounting software
That's right! You can now send payment requests and payments from within Forwardly without connecting an accounting software. This is especially useful for businesses that prefer a standalone payments solution or are using an accounting software that we don't integrate with yet.
How to simplify approvals and manage team roles
Forwardly now makes it easier to control who can approve and track payments. Admins can assign custom roles, set up multi-level approval policies, and keep a full log of every decision. A dedicated Approvals tab helps team members focus only on what matters to them, while historical approvals provide a clear audit trail for compliance purposes.
How to manage bills, invoices, and payments separately
Bills and invoices are now tracked independently from their payments. This means multiple payments against a single bill are grouped together, and each payment record shows delivery speed, sync status, and approval history. The result is full visibility across every transaction and a full audit log of who has done what and when.
How to speed up your payment workflows
You can now send multiple payments or payment requests in one action. Split payments can be scheduled in advance, and auto payments can be paused temporarily without losing authorization. These changes save time and reduce friction for both firms and vendors.
How to organize vendors and contacts
For some businesses, Forwardly now supports direct vendor payments using bank details. Our new customer and vendor sections help you manage contacts more easily, like adding multiple email addresses to businesses so the right people stay informed. For businesses you work with, you can upload and store important documents such as W-9s or 1099s, link payments to the right names, and maintain clear records for every relationship.

Forwardly transaction fee pricing will be changing on November 1st, 2025. These changes are designed to reflect the new features and capabilities we’ve recently released, while keeping the platform simple and affordable without adding monthly subscription fees or user seat fees.
